The topic of weight loss will always be trendy. However, finding motivation for losing weight is its biggest culprit. Weight is a value of an extremely unstable nature and without overcoming your constant desire to eat a lot and whatever you want, and finding the inner motivation for losing weight, it would never remain constant. Whatever one may say, the idea of extra kilograms disrupting your normal way of life always comes up as a reaction to the same reasons. We list the most basic and common ones.

“I cannot fit into my favorite dress!”. If you do not have a problem with impolite friends or relatives, then it could be your clothes that tells you if you have put on a couple of extra pounds. If last year everything fit perfectly, and now you can hardly zip up your favorite dress or cannot fit in it at all- then it is probably time to take a second and think about your situation. But that is if and only if you really care about your figure. There are lots of women out there who do not really care and, probably, are much happier at that, going about their lives and worrying about other things. So, this motivation for losing weight – to fit into your favorite dress, instead of shopping for new one – is also very important and objective.

“I am looking forward to taking some beautiful pictures on the beach!”. Summer, sun, sea … we all want to look “A+”, so that men do not take their admiring glances off our gorgeous forms, and so that our girlfriends would see how great our swimming suits compliment our body. What is it if not the best motivation for losing weight? The beach is one of those places where even the smallest of flaws become clearly visible. To walk through the warm sand like on the podium, showing off your great forms, in addition to a beautiful tan, you need to start taking care of your figure in advance.

“I’m running out of breath every time I take a couple of steps!” those of us who are “blessed” with voluptuous figures will most certainly tell you, that extra pounds are not only an aesthetic problem, but also the root cause of various diseases: varicose veins, swelling, shortness of breath, diabetes, heart and hormonal problems (in thyroid, pancreas, ovaries, etc.). Health is one of the most important motivations for losing weight, and no one can argue with that. Usually, doctors, tell those people suffering from excess weight, that the most important thing for them on their way to recover is to lose that excess weight. Getting rid of extra pounds, makes your body feel lighter, which takes off the pressure from all organs, including the skeleton, and leads to dramatic changes in the health situation.

“Girl, can I get your number?” Apart from the topic of health, the most important factor affecting motivation for losing weight is women’s desire to be more attractive to men. Whatever we might think, unfortunately, more often than not women are judged by their looks. Not in all cases, but in most of them. At the very start, men judge us by our appearance, and only then follow with getting to know our “rich and profound inner world”. And even if they say that looks are not important to them, these words should be taken with a grain of salt. A woman should always look beautiful and desirable, and this is definitely one of the best motivations for losing weight.
